Ramen was great but not particularly beyond expectations. What was exceptional was the service. We came as a large party and a few others trickled in with last minute changes, while we were accommodating ourselves on the bench, the staff was excited to add a table and chairs for us. We had to insist that it was alright because they were so friendly and wanted to up our experience. Good people. Iza Ramen - ramen al dente. My initial impression was all about the texture and comparing it to pasta because it was the perfect al dente for me (though not common for ramen so could feel weird to some people). Fairly firm and dense with a nice bounce to the noodle. Broth was rich and pork tender. Just a tad steep on price. Okonomiyaki Fries - unique fries with garnish on top. Fries were standard, I personally would have preferred crispier but given the toppings, I think the light softness paired well. Would order for the experience but maybe not repeat.

Very solid ramen spot in SF. The fries were the star of the show. They were great as an appetizer and to share. My friend got the curry and that looked amazing. The curry came with a giant cutlet, curry on the side, salad, and miso soup. That's a great deal! The ramen was good. The spicy ramen wasn't too spicy for me. The portion was the perfect amount too.

I went here after hanging out with some of my friends because they were craving ramen! we had a large group and they were able to accommodate all of us which was great. i reallly wish ramen places would give you the full egg. it makes me sad to just see half of an egg for almost $20. i also noticed that i wanted more broth. i usually like to have a sip of broth every bite and i noticed i didn't have as much soup as i am used to in comparison to other ramen places. i think one of my friends also agreed. also there aren't as many toppings as you would get from other ramen places. not sure if that's just not the traditional way, but i do love my bamboo shoots. overall super great place!

I stumbled upon this place due to a late night ramen craving. Looking at the address and location I noticed it's not as central as Jtown but the pictures and the jammy egg made me curious. The parking in this neighborhood can be scattered but for the time after 7pm it was fair to find parking two/three blocks away. The vibe inside is very chill and inviting. The servers exceptionally friendly and kosher. even took a picture for us at the table . Overall I like this place and I would be back

Hopping, festive, trendy crowd. Bypassed this place when they opened due to perpetual lines. They get an award for most popular destination restaurant in Lower Haight. Second attempt figured I get takeout. 'Sorry, we don't do takeout ". Then COVID happened, and so did takeout. So, the other thing, not into ramen lately, and, like, they're called Iza RAMEN. Hello... A friend wanted to go there, and after much menu studying, discovered the Bento Boxes. Cue angels singing. The chicken karaage was so very good, beautiful presentation, pickled veg, potato croquette, much etc. Yummers.

Solid option if you're in the neighborhood and craving ramen on a cold, windy SF evening! To be completely honest, it's not the absolute best or greatest ramen that there ever was or ever will be, but it's solid. I ordered the tsukemen and my partner ordered their tonkotsu ramen. I'd give both a 3/5. What bumps my rating up to a 4/5 stars is definitely the service and vibes. It's dark, casual, moody; they play sports games (NBA when I was there) on the TVs. We had the pleasure of chatting a bit with the chef/waiter serving us and turns out that he had been there since Day 1. Had a really cool story and was so warm and welcoming! I've come back again just because it's a convenient location to get to for me. I did see that they had happy hour deals that looked great--haven't gotten a chance to pop in during those times, but will have to try it out!

Came here for dinner and ordered the iza ramen. It came with the usual variety of toppings and a slice of pork. The broth was good, not too rich. The highlight by far was the egg! I love jammy yolks. It's slightly pricey for a bowl of ramen ($19) and pretty standard, but a great spot for a quick meal! We got our food just a few minutes after ordering.

This is a solid ramen spot in a really cool neighborhood. The restaurant is super cute and intimate, and the food was tasty! We started off with the chicken pot stickers which were super good, as well as the agedashi tofu which was marvelous! I had the Spicy Iza Ramen and it was tasty, but not the best ramen I've had. Specifically I thought the pork was a bit mushy and a little on the fattier side than what I usually prefer. I also would order it without the seaweed next time. Otherwise, it was a decent ramen! I'd definitely try this place again, but I wasn't overly impressed.
